Thursday nights's Building Doctor workshop drew over 30 participants. Lisa Adkins and Justin Cook of the Ohio Historic Preservation Office made the trip to Mansfield to present advice on inspection and maintenance of old and historic buildings, and overnighted to conduct 10 scheduled building site visits on Friday.
Justin inspects water damage in the lower belfrey at First English Lutheran Church with Nathan Bevil, Building Doctor in Traning looking on. The "Building Doctors" are preservation professionals whose normal working days in Columbus revolve around review of historic projects. The Building Doctor program is run through the summer in cities around the state, spaced about a month apart.
